The purpose of this conference is exploring the issue of translated meaning, as a crucial problem in the theory and practice of translation, from various perspectives, for example interdisciplinary, technical, scientific, economic and legal, audiovisual and intersemiotic etc. Scholars of different disciplines have developed methodologies and theories on the concept of „meaning”. Each field of study views the understanding or evolution of translation from both theoretical and practical perspective and applies its own methodology for their advance. Conference languages are English, French, Italian and simultaneous interpretation in French.
